What's the plural of 'gavilán', please? I would have expected it to be 'gavilanes', but I have seen 'gavilán' used when it is obviously referring to more than one gavilán ("Gavilán que andáis de noche"). So is the plural also 'gavilán', and why? Are there any other words like this in Spanish? And does it work in the same way as the English word 'fish', which goes 'one fish', 'two fishes', 'three or more fish'?
