Norwegian: har alt å si

I'm reading this article on makeup, and I came across this phrase in the following sentence:

Å få kunnskap om hvilke farger, produkter og triks for nettopp din ansiktsfasong, hud og farger, har alt å si for å lykkes med en pen makeup.

I think this means:

Gaining knowledge of which colors, products, and tricks for your specific face shape, skin and coloring, is the key to success/is a must for success with a pretty makeup look.

I know the literal meaning is "has everything to say", but since that doesn't make sense, I assumed this to be an idiom. Am I close?
