    Yes and no :)
It is a paste made with water, milk, oil, butter and some kind of cheese, so it is lighter than cheese but it is still based on cheese. And because it is cheaper, it is used in processed, packaged food.

    I suggest:
    food preparation containing cheese
    food preparation with cheese
    cheese-based food preparation

waiting for approval from a native speaker

    Hi everybody,
I have to translate the following sentence from Italian into English

PREPARAZIONE ALIMENTARE A BASE DI RISO COTTO, MOZZARELLA E POMODORO

This is the translation that it seems to me the most suitable:
Food preparation consting of cooked rice, mozzarella cheese and tomato sauce

Does it make sense? Is it better to use the term food preparation or food mix? I'll wait for native speakers' approval
