Salam

Why is حار in the nominative case, it is the adjective of الرمل so it should follow the same pattern ?

قد لبست المرأة نعليها لأن الرمل حار

    Imperfect Mod
    US English, Palestinian Arabic bilingual
    لأن الرملَ حارٌ

    الرمل > accusative
    حار > nominative

This is because of لأن: its topic is accusative and its predicate is nominative.

    Thank you

How do we name لأن in Arabic ( not the translation but the grammatical object ) ?
